In order to apply for gigs you’ll need to complete your profile. This acts as an online CV and allows Business Owners to see who is applying for their gigs. We see this as a highly important feature and below, we’ve come up with some top tips on how to create a killer profile.
Let Business Owners know what type of work you are looking for and give an idea of your experience and availability. If you are a delivery driver, we recommend sharing what type of vehicle you have.
Show them your personality and what hobbies you have: You’d be surprised how a good bio can influence the decision of a Business Owner.
This section is one of the most vital parts of a Freelancers profile. Here is your opportunity to share the experience and skills you have learned throughout your career, no matter how long or short it may be.
You might want to showcase your skills or even your online portfolio. Share it here! There are 3 different sections, including options to share your own website, your social media page or your LinkedIn page.
Depending on the industries you’re interested in, education could play a big part in the selection process for a Gig. Let’s say you’re a pharmacist or an accountant, the Business Owner will need to see some paperwork. On the other hand, some Gigs rely more on experience than education.
Another important section to show off your credentials. Here you can tell us if you have a driving licence, your own vehicle and if you’re able to speak English. It’s also an opportunity to show off any particular licenses or certifications you may have.
In order to get paid, don’t forget to update your payment details.
In the profile section click on the top right corner and hit ‘Payment Settings’. Here you can add your bank details in order to get paid.
That’s it! Once your profile is complete it’s time to upload your identity documents. Full guidelines on how to do this can be found here
