Welcome to Gigable Desktop For Business

Gigable Desktop has been created especially for business and contains all the great features of the mobile App with a few additions, to make managing your Gigs that much easier.

First things first – how do I get there?

Access the portal through the Gigable website and using the Log in link provided. Just use the same login details as you would for the mobile App.

Let's Get Started On Creating Your Profile

If you haven’t already set up your Profile in the App, now is the time to do it.

Click on the Profile link and firstly add your Company logo, this will be visible to the applicants.

Fill out the required fields:

  • Display Name
  • Trading Name
  • A brief Business description.
  • Your Company Registration Number
  • VAT Number
  • Finally, set your Business Address (Don’t worry if you run Gigs in various locations, when you create Gigs, you can specify the location of each one.)

Quick Tip

By selecting ‘Export Transactions’, this will automatically send down a .csv file (similar to that of an .excel file) to your registered email address.

This contains a full list and breakdown of all your transaction and payments history on the Gigable Platform and provides you with VAT details ideal for accountancy purposes.

Setting Up Those Bank Details

Gigable has partnered with 2 Online Payments Providers: Revolut and Stripe.

To enter your financials, Click into ‘Setting’ in the top right corner of your screen.

You have two options

  • Click on the Stripe Logo.
  • Provide the following information:
    • Cardholder name.
    • Card number
    • Expiration date
    • CVC
    • Press ‘SAVE’
    • Finally, under the Stripe Logo, ensure you select Stripe as your default payment method.
    • That’s it, you’re good to go and are ready to post Gigs.

Revolut

In order to set up Revolut for payments, instructions are sent to the registered email on your Gigable account.

  • Make sure you have clicked into the Revolut option
  • Trigger the email by hitting “generate certificates”

Watch Our Revolut Integration How To Guide

You will need access to the Revolut account at the same time as the Gigable account

  • Step 1 is already complete (and you have the certificate in the email instructions)
  • Step 2 is described in the email
  • Step 3 occurs in the Gigable Dashboard, as shown above

Fear not!

While it looks daunting, the whole process shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes, and of course we are happy to set up a zoom call to help if needed.

And don’t worry if you think you made a mistake, you can always start the process over!

Time To Post Gigs!

Now that you have set up your Profile and the method of payment by which Freelancers will be paid, you can create Gigs.

Managing Your Gigs

Gigable has made this a simple 3 step process

There are 3 tabs to manage your gigs

Tab 1 - Open Gigs & Posting a Gig

From here you can post a gig and View Applicants

Click “Post a Gig” on the top right of your screen

Fill out the Gig details and various fields

  1. Industry
  2. Job Type
  3. Location
  4. Gig Description
  5. Date
  6. Start and finish time.
  7. Gig Rate.
  8. Finally hit “Create”

Your Gig is now live and can be viewed by the many thousands of Freelancers on the Gigable platform.

Viewing Applicants

Once a Freelancer has applied, a numerical value will appear within your logo in the ‘Open Gigs’ tab.

  1. Click into the Gig.
  2. Click ‘Freelancers’
  3. This gives you a list of all those who have applied for your Gig.
  4. You can click into each individual Freelancer to view their Profile to give you a snapshot of their work history and industry experience.
  5. Within the Freelancer list, you can avail of the ‘Chat’ feature if you would like to ask the further questions and you can ‘Accept’ them here too.

Tab 2 - Confirmed Gigs

Once you have confirmed an applicant the Gig moves into the ‘Confirmed Gigs’ tab.

Again, by clicking into each Gig, you can view the Freelancer and Message them if necessary.

This tab is important because if a Freelancer has to cancel and can’t make your Gig, other Freelancers have been placed on a ‘Waiting List’.

This means you can now confirm another Freelancer for the same Gig.

Pretty cool and really important…

Tab 3 - Completed Gigs

When a Gig is complete, the Freelancer will apply for payment in the App.

Once they do, the Gig moves into the ‘Completed Gigs’ tab, awaiting your review.

From here, you can pay the Freelancers by simply clicking ‘Pay Now’

Don’t worry, Gigable allows you to verify those payment details first.

Enter the correct payment details for the Freelancer which might be:

  • Per Gig
  • Per hour
  • Per delivery (if applicable)
  • Per Kilometre (if applicable)

The ‘Quick View’ box will provide you with a visual of the payment details including the full breakdown such as:

  • Gig Value
  • Platform Fee
  • VAT
  • Gig Total

Just hit ‘Pay Now’ and the Freelancer is paid.

This triggers a copy invoice which will be issued to your registered email and a receipt of payment to the Freelancer, on your behalf.

Feel free to ‘Archive’ the Paid Gigs by clicking the Paid Box and selecting ‘Archive’ in the top right corner.

You can view the Archived Gigs at any time by clicking the ‘Archived’ Folder.

Great Job!

Great Job!

That’s the full Gig Cycle from Post to Preview and Payment so well done and keep on Gigging.
